Korean cuisine in Hell's Kitchen, focused on the authenticity of flavor and classic preparation, as well as a small plates mentality that emphasizes communal eating and fresh-from-the-kitchen food. All the meat is growth-hormone and antibiotic free, all the fish are caught wild, and the produce is as organic and local as possible.

The menu at Danji showcases both the traditional and the contemporary sides of Korean cuisine, each attacked with stunning craft and delicacy. On the classic side, the steak tartare with quail yolk, toasted pine nuts and Asian pear and the grandma-style artisanal miso stew are glorious choices, and for modern fare, the curiously named spicy "K.F.C." Korean fire chicken wings will put you right in your place, and the bulgogi beef sliders, well, you wouldn't believe us if we told you.
